In 1982, following the back-to-back triumphs of Ace of Spades and No Sleep Til Hammersmith, Motörhead released their fifth album, Iron Fist, and looked to hit the road once again in support of the record. Needing an intro-film to kick off their show, Lemmy Kilmister, Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor filmed a gory, brutal and hilarious three-minute movie portraying the power trio as vodka-fueled medieval knights frightening off villains by punching the air with their iron fist. As if that weren't awesome enough, the clip was soundtracked by an instrumental rager aptly titled "Ripsaw Teardown."
Now, ahead of the 40th anniversary reissue of Iron Fist, this relic — previously only found on bootleg VHS tapes — has been dusted off and restored. It's kitschy treat that brings to mind Monty Python and the Holy Grail but shittier and gnarlier in that signature Motörhead way. Watch above.
