Hear 3TEETH's new industrial-metal rager "Slum Planet"

Produced by 'DOOM' composer Mick Gordon

Earlier this month, 3Teeth resurfaced with their first original music in four years, the pulverizing single "Merchant of the Void," featuring DOOM composer and sound designer Mick Gordon. Today (May 31st), the industrial-metal insurgents — led by frontman Alexis Mincolla — have returned with another new single, with production by Gordon: "Slum Planet," a politically charged anthem full of gnashing guitars and seething electronics. Crank it above via its action-packed, Matteo Santoro-directed music video.

"An ecosystem? More like an ego-system," Mincolla commented. "'Slum Planet' is a monument to the hubris of mankind, to the ruthless exploitation of nature in the name of progress, to the willful blindness of those who chose profits over preservation."

3Teeth have promised a new song every month in the lead-up to their long-awaited new album, the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2019's Metawar. The band have confirmed that they're currently wrapping up the project after recording in the Joshua Tree desert with a team that included Gordon.

"3Teeth are one of my favorite acts," he commented in early May. "They proudly fly their own unique flag. The new album charts course through the next stage of our vanity-led evolution as a species, and by that I mean the album is a world unto itself. I'm just stoked that these guys have allowed me along for the ride."
