Last month, The Callous Daoboys announced that they were following up their berserk 2022 LP, Celebrity Therapist, with a new EP called God Smiles Upon the Callous Daoboys.
The first single, "Waco Jesus," was one of the best things they've ever released, but today's taste, "Pushing the Pink Envelope," might even be better.
With streams of keyboards and a pulsing beat, the song begins at a ferocious pace and only gets crazier from there. Trance beats, vaporwave interludes, Fall Out Boy-esque emo choruses and bludgeoning breakdowns all arrive before the track is even halfway over.
