'Invincible Shield' out March 8th

We're only a few weeks out from hearing Judas Priest's highly-anticipated new album, Invincible Shield, their first since 2018's Firepower. But the band are offering up one more preview to keep our excitement at a fever pitch.

Today (February 22nd), the NWOBHM titans have dropped a new song called "The Serpent and the King," which Priest frontman Rob Halford teased by saying it's "gonna rip your head off."

He wasn't lying. It's a total heater, and you can listen above via YouTube.

"The Serpent and the King" is the fourth single Priest have dropped in advance of Invincible Shield, following "Crown of Thorns," "Panic Attack" and "Trial By Fire."

Invincible Shield is due out in March 8th and up for pre-order in an array of collectible formats. These include a limited-edition blue vinyl variant exclusively available via Revolver's shop and those of our sister brands. Only 1,000 made — order yours now.
