Linkin Park are gearing up to release a new, previously unheard song that features vocals from the late, great Chester Bennington.
Yesterday (February 19th), the band teased the track, titled "Friendly Fire," on their social media pages, where they previewed 30 seconds of what they dubbed "a new, unreleased song from the One More Light 2017 sessions."
Linkin Park die-hards will know that the existence of "Friendly Fire" has been confirmed for a few years now. Back in 2020, Linkin Park co-vocalist Mike Shinoda revealed that the track was written and recorded for what would be the band's final album with Bennington, 2017's One More Light, but that it was then shelved for release as a B-side sometime down the line.
Now, it seems like the band are preparing to bring the full song into the world. Check out the clip below via Twitter.
