Alice Cooper guitar hero Nita Strauss' hotly anticipated second solo album, The Call of the Void, is a star-studded affair featuring guest vocals from In Flames' Anders Fridén, Disturbed's David Draiman, Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz, Halestorm's Lzzy Hale, Motionless in White's Chris Motionless and others.
These include singer Dorothy, frontwoman of the hard-rock band of the same name. She appears on the album's latest single, "Victorious," an empowering anthem that arrived today (June 6th) along with an inspirational music video that underscores the song's fight-to-the-end message. The clip features cameos from 13-year-old rising guitar star Charlotte Milstein, who plays a young Nita Strauss, and U.S. Olympian and former WBO and IBF champion Mikalea Mayer, a childhood friend and former bandmate of the Alice Cooper shredder. "'Victorious' is the anthem I always wanted, a song about inspiring change, marching forward relentlessly, being willing to save yourself instead of waiting for someone to do it for you, and never backing down from a fight," Strauss commented.
