Hear QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's hard-charging new song "Paper Machete"

Latest single off 'In Times New Roman...'

Queens of the Stone Age's highly anticipated new album, In Times New Roman… — the band's first in six years — is almost upon us. Today (June 14th), Josh Homme and Co. offered up the LP's third and final pre-release single, "Paper Machete."

In contrast to previous single "Carnavoyeur," which represents a more resigned and lounge-y side of the imminent album, "Paper Machete" finds QOTSA in rev'd-up, hard-rockin' mode, with a chugging riff and Homme's propulsive croon.

In a new interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Homme discussed In Times New Roman… and teased QOTSA's plans for their upcoming live shows. "We're working on this whole tailgating at our shows, heavy-metal-parking-lot-style," he said. "Bringing back willful stupidity. Want to do something dumb? Come over to my house. That's my mantra for all this now."

In Times New Roman… is due out June 16th via Matador. You can order Revolver's new Queens of the Stone Age cover issue and limited-edition colored vinyl at our shop.
