Hear SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL's Alex Terrible roar on debut solo song "Doom Slayer"

Inspired by Mick Gordon's legendary 'DOOM' soundtrack

Rip and tear. Slaughter to Prevail's monstrous frontman Alex Terrible has just unleashed his first-ever solo song, and it's a DOOM-inspired banger called "Doom Slayer."

Terrible previously covered two of Mick Gordon's DOOM soundtrack cuts — "BFG Division" and "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" — adding brutal gutturals to Gordon's instrumentals. Now, the Slaughter to Prevail vocalist has teamed with Saturos Studio's Egor Krotov to create the berserk "Doom Slayer."

"I realized I need to text Mick Gordon," Terrible said about making the DOOM-inspired cut. "I texted him and he answered me back, and he was down [to collaborate]. It was positive. I was stoked, I was excited, but then he changed his mind. I was like, 'Fuck that, I will move forward and do it by myself.'"

Terrible went on to promise a full solo album coming soon. For now, check out the vicious "Doom Slayer" above.
