Los Angeles' Starcrawler are retro scuzz-rockers led by freakshow frontwoman Arrow de Wilde, a bloodthirsty banshee with shock-rock attitude. The band have been making waves with their throwback sound and confrontational live shows, winning praise from Garbage's Shirley Manson and a spot opening for the Foo Fighters. Starcrawler's music video have already leaned into horror-movie territory (see the gory clip for their standout single "Chicken Woman"); now, the band have aligned themselves with a legit fright film, specifically, the acclaimed new reboot of Pet Sematary, which just hit theaters. De Wilde and cohorts put their laconic spin on the Ramones' punk-rock classic of the same name, penned for the original 1989 movie at the request of Stephen King, who was a huge fan. Starcrawlers' reverent take appears under the closing credit of the remake. Check it out above, and below, watch the iconic video for the Ramones' original, which features cameos by Blondie's Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, as well as members of the Dead Boys.
