Verse lyrics were written the day singer Kyle Pavone died

Revolver has teamed with We Came as Romans for an exclusive white vinyl variant of their new album, Darkbloom, limited to 200. Order yours now!

We Came as Romans are gearing up to drop their highly anticipated sixth LP, Darkbloom, for an October 14th release via SharpTone Records. It will be the metalcore veterans' first full-length in five years and the first since the 2018 death of vocalist-keyboardist Kyle Pavone. Today (September 7th), they've offered up the album's third single, "Golden," which follows up the previously released title track and "Plagued." Check it out via its moody, surreal music video.

"'Golden' is a song that's really close to our hearts," guitarist Joshua Moore commented. "I wrote the verse lyrics about the day that Kyle passed, that morning when we got the call, and the emotion we felt. Kyle was such a bright light in our lives, and it felt like that light was gone without him. This song was about dealing with those feelings and trying to find a way through this new darkness we all felt completely lost in."

Darkbloom is up for pre-order in an array of collectible formats, including a Revolver-exclusive white vinyl colorway limited to 200 worldwide. It's almost sold out — order yours before they're gone!
