Ozzy Osbourne is planning a pair of shows to say "goodbye" to his fans in his hometown of Birmingham, U.K., the Mirror reports. His wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, revealed the news, saying the Black Sabbath frontman and heavy-metal icon "won't tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, 'I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly.'"

She added, "We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from."

"His voice is still absolutely perfect," Sharon told the Mirror. "And all the time he has been off he still does his singing lessons so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yeah. He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don't like his music, you can't not like Ozzy, he just draws you in."

No more details about the timing of these shows yet, but stay tuned.

After postponing and eventually canceling his planned "final" tour, Ozzy said last year that his "touring days" were over due to health issues, but he was hoping to still find ways to perform. He was announced on the lineup for Power Trip, Goldenvoice's new hard-rock and heavy-metal festival in 2023, but wound up dropping off the lineup, with Judas Priest playing in his place.

"Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I'm just not ready yet," he explained at the time, "and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed."
