Pantera have a busy 2024 ahead of them, and the groove-metal titans started off their year with a bang.
Last night (February 3rd), the recently reactivated Cowboys From Hell — featuring Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante playing in place of the late, great Abbott brothers — kicked off their winter tour with Lamb of God at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
It marked Pantera's first show of the new year, which means they had an opportunity to re-work the hit-filled setlist they've been powering through since they started gigging for the first time in over 20 years back in late 2022.
And they did. In addition to delivering the expected bangers from Vulgar Display of Power, Cowboys From Hell and Far Beyond Driven, including their iconic "Domination/Hollow" medley, Pantera dusted off the crushing Great Southern Trendkill standout "Floods" for the first time since 2001.
