Tonight (January 10th) in Eugene, Oregon, Tool will kick off the massive U.S. tour that they'll be embarking on for the next two months, which was originally supposed to go down back in March 2022 but was postponed due to the pandemic. The band have had nearly two years to hone their chops for the long-awaited run in support of Fear Inoculum, and you can see just how ready to go they are based on intimate rehearsal footage that guitarist Adam Jones recently posted on his Instagram.
The axeman livestreamed part of the band's final practice before the tour, which featured him, bassist Justin Chancellor and drummer Danny Carey cranking through "The Pot" and "The Patient" in an intimate rehearsal space. Vocalist Maynard James Keenan wasn't present for this occasion, so you can really focus in on the band's air-tight performances of these two beloved Tool songs. Watch the footage above via YouTube.
