Side By Side were one of the last classic New York Hardcore bands who didn't ride the reunion wave of the 2010s. This year, the youth crew pioneers — whose members would go on to play in Gorilla Biscuits, Alone in a Crowd, Judge and many more — finally stopped holding out and got back up onstage. 

Their first show in 35 years went down last month at the Revolution Calling fest in the Netherlands, but their first U.S. show in just as long took place over the weekend (December 9th) in their hometown of NYC.

Their direct support band Infest canceled last minute, but Side By Side were joined by Brain Tourniquet, Firewalker and SHIT for their historic gig at the Brooklyn Monarch.
