Tonight (May 25th) in Hanover, Germany, TOOL kicked off their 2024 European tour with a characteristically third-eye-opening show at the ZAG-Arena.
The prog-metal titans hadn't played a full set since February, but did assemble onstage just last month for a surprise performance of "Ænema" — with Primus frontman Les Claypool sharing vocals with Maynard James Keenan — at the Hollywood Bowl stop of Keenan's Sessanta tour.
"Ænema" didn't make an appearance at TOOL's Hanover show, but plenty of oldies did, including Undertow's "Intolerance" and "Flood."
