TOOL are bigger and more powerful than ever right now, and their current tour proves it.

Last night (January 12th), the prog-metal giants played the first of two back-to-back shows at NYC's historic Madison Square Garden, which is a considerable achievement reserved for only the biggest names in music.

The band kicked off the latest leg of their Fear Inoculum tour earlier this week in Baltimore, and not only was the scale of last night's MSG show much greater, but the setlist was also notably switched up, as well.

As on opening night, TOOL played 11 songs, but 10,000 Days' "The Pot" replaced the same album's "Jambi," and Undertow's "Flood" was performed (for the first time since 2011) in place of Fear Inoculum's "Culling Voices." Finally, instead of concluding with Ænima's "Stinkfist," TOOL wrapped up the night with the Lateralus' "Schism" — the first time they've closed a show with that single. See the full setlist (courtesy of below.

Photographer The Tinfoil Biter was there to capture the momentous performance, as well as the opening set by stoner-rock psychonauts Elder. See some of her epic standout shots below.
