VOLBEAT part with longtime guitarist Rob Caggiano

Volbeat have parted ways with guitarist Rob Caggiano (pictured above, second from the right). Formerly a member of Anthrax, the axman joined the Danish "Elvis metal" stalwarts in 2013 and played on all their albums since, from that year's Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies to 2021's Servant of the Mind.

No reason was given for the split — though it appears to be cordial based on Volbeat's social posts breaking the news — and the group revealed that their "good friend" Flemming C. Lund, of the band the Arcane Order, will be playing in Caggiano's place during Volbeat's remaining 2023 shows.
