Watch Kirk Hammett Tour Salem Witch Museum, Debut Horror-Art Gallery Show

Kirk Hammett is no stranger to horror. The Metallica guitarist has been fascinated by the film genre since he was a young child, and over the years has amassed one of the world's most extensive collections of horror-movie memorabilia and posters. He's showcased select pieces at festivals, including Metallica's Orion Music + More and his own Fear FestEvil, as well as in his 2012 book, Too Much Horror Business. But the crowning jewel came this fall when he received his first gallery showing at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. We met up with Hammett at the premiere of It's Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art From the Kirk Hammett Collection to get a first look at the impressive exhibit, before escorting him to the Salem Witch Museum where he received a history lesson on the real-life horror that went down in that town over three hundred years ago.
