Megadeth have announced complete details for the fall dates of the North American leg of its Dystopia World Tour.

The tour kicks off in Casper, W.Y. on September 20, 2016 and will take them across the U.S., visiting 16 states with special guests to include Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church, and Havok.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 22. There will also be an exclusive pre-sale for Megadeth fan club members. Pre-sale tickets for Megadeth Cyber Army club members will begin on Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. local time here.

In addition, Megadeth recently released its new music video for "Post American World." You can check it out below.

Frontman Dave Mustaine said, "The filming of 'Post American World' was an eerie video shoot right from the beginning. Shot in just one day with only our guitars and drums, I knew that this was going to be amazing. There is something to be said about the simplicity of an artist and only his guitar or drums. This is clearly a 'less is more' concept and director Jake Macpherson nailed it!"

Also, the thrash act announced that former Soilwork drummer Dirk Verbeuren will be the band's fulltime skinsman. Previously, Lamb of God's Chris Adler handled the duties behind the kit for its latest, 'Dystopia.'

John Hetlinger, the 82-year-old who recently sang Drowning Pool's "Bodies" on NBC's 'America's Got Talent,' joined the band on stage this past Saturday, July 16, to perform the song at the Ink in the Clink festival in Mansfield, Ohio. You can check out his performance below.

Hetlinger also performed with the band the previous day at the Chicago Open Air festival (as pictured above).

The Navy vet and aerospace manager told KUSA he was surprised by the reaction to his initial 'America's Got Talent' performance. "I didn't know two and a half thousand in the audience would react the same way that 30 drunks in the bar do, but they did," he said. "Everybody seems to think it's great that an old man is screaming 'let the bodies hit the floor!'"

CJ Pierce, Drowning Pool's guitarist, said he first heard about Hetlinger's performance when family members started texting him. "I picked up my phone and I got a handful of texts from a number of people because I guess it got out yesterday ahead of the airing," he said. "I watched it, and man, I am so entertained by it. It's awesome to just see an 82-year-old man get out there and just belt out some metal—whether it was our song or any song, it was just killer to see him do that."

Montreal-based deathcore pioneers Despised Icon have premiered its new music video, "Bad Vibes." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

"We've often been vocal about the classic death metal bands that have influenced us throughout the years but have rarely discussed the grindcore and hardcore elements in our music," said vocalist Alex Erian. "Our new single, 'Bad Vibes,' is raw, straight-forward and reminiscent of bands likeNapalm Death, Brutal Truth, Biohazard, and Madball. The '90s were a defining decade for us and so we opted for that old school look when putting together this new music video. 'Beast' comes out in a week. Get into it!"

The band will release its new album, 'Beast,' on July 22 via Nuclear Blast.

Maryland-based metal act Hydra Kyll released its second EP, 'Timelines,' last year and are currently working on a new album. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new music video, "Call of the Void." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Guitarist Michael Nakon said, "'Call of the Void' was inspired by the phenomenon of the same name; the voice in your head telling you to jump off the bridge as you stand at the edge or stab that person with the knife you're holding. It's an insane, destructive desire that I think lives in us all. I was in a pretty dark place when I wrote the lyrics for this, so in a way this song is my way of satisfying that desire, and I hope it can be the same for others. For the video, we wanted it to capture the same sense of lingering helplessness we've all felt before as we've flirted with that same desire. This is the final track off our EP, 'Timelines,' and we wanted it to be an epic one! We hope you enjoy it! Keep an eye out for new music early next year!"

Colorado Springs, Colorado-based deathcore act Roots Like Mountains have teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and music video, "Dead Man," off its forthcoming album. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Nathan Vogt said, "We are excited to release the first single off of our forthcoming record. 'Dead Man' is a culmination of our thoughts, fears, and questions. It dives into the mind of a man who has lost everything being "trapped in his skin." Psychosis... We hope 'Dead Man' will spark like thoughts and push our fans to start asking questions. To dig deeper into the 'why' instead on just taking what you have been told at face value. This is just the beginning!"

Night Verses has recently released its new Ross Robinson-produced album, 'Into the Vanishing Light,' via Graphic Nature Records, an Equal Vision Records imprint. Today, they have teamed up with the band to premiere its new music video, "A Dialogue in Cataplexy." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

"I'm just really fed up with how so many of us (myself included) have turned a blind eye to what's happening with the harmony of our entire existence," said vocalist Douglas Robinson in regards to the inspiration for the song that tackles apathy and forces one to pay attention, even when it's uncomfortable. "I started to see things and people for what they really are and it opened up what I've been really trying to write about for quite some time. I am now more mentally awake and aware of the world around me than I have ever been in my life. I finally see a lot of the darkness that I'd neglected for most of my years on this planet. I'm just sick of the repetition of waking up and not caring about how our civilization is going to end up if we keep treating our plants, animals and each other like this."

Zodiacarticle.jpg
German riff-rock group Zodiac will release its new (and fourth full-length) album, 'Grain of Soul,' on July 29 via Napalm Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and music video, "Animal." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The band said, "Just two weeks left and 'Grain of Soul' will be unleashed. This is the third new song, called 'Animal.' We've once again teamed up with the good guys in Iconographic to create this great video. It contains some explicit content that some of you might not find that appealing...but had to be shown to underline the (core) message of the song. You might want to keep it away from your kids but they can surely listen to the song! Stay tuned and keep it loud just above the acceptable level!"

To get 'Grain of Soul,' visit Napalm's webstore or iTunes. For more on Zodiac, follow them on Facebook.
