PhinehasArticle.jpg
Los Angeles-based metalcore group Phinehas released its latest album, 'Till the End,' last year via Artery Recordings. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new music video, "Forever West." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Sean McCulloch said, "The 'Forever West' music video is an adventure from east to west, chasing a sunset. Ricky Norris, the one-man production genius, wanted to capture the intensity of 'The Revenant,' while telling a story related to 'The Pilgrims Progress.' He took me with him on a day long trip where we came close to living out the lyrics to this song. I was blown away by every location that this video was shot in and Ricky's ability to use those locations in such an emotion evoking way. There was nothing fake about this video and I'm so pumped to have been a part of it.

"We almost got stranded atop the Kelso Dunes in the Mojave Desert after accidentally losing sight of his bag and car keys during a running sequence shot as the sun was setting. Thankfully, we managed to find everything before nightfall or else we literally would have had to 'fight through the night' and camp there with zero supplies.

"This is my favorite music video that Phinehas has ever released. When I saw the final cut for the first time, I felt like I was watching a full production movie."

Bloody Hammers has premiered its new NSFW music video, "Bloodletting on the Kiss." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The duo will release its new album, 'Lovely Sort of Death,' on August 5 via Napalm Records.

Mastermind Anders Manga said, "This album is certainly the darkest album I've ever recorded." He adds, "The song intro has been the background music for the popular horror podcast 'Pseudopod' for some time now. For the 'Lovely Sort of Death' album I put some guitar and finishing touches on it. It's never been released by a top label like Napalm so I'm really looking forward to hearing it on vinyl because it's one of my favorite songs."

Keyboardist Devalia added, "For the video we rented a castle in the middle of nowhere. There was so much weirdness involved in the shoot, that I'm quite sure the owners would be appalled if they were to happen upon the video."

Gemini Syndrome have announced details for its upcoming album.

The Los Angeles-based hard rock act will release 'Memento Mori' on August 19 via Another Century.

In addition to the new album announcement, the group has also premiered a new song and music video, "Anonymous." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The follow-up to 2013's debut, 'Lux,' was produced by father/son duo of Kane and Kevin Churko. It's a direct successor to 'Lux' in a three part trilogy; with the latter being a representation of birth, and the former acting a reminder of life.

Drummer Brian Medina said, "The title of the new album, 'Memento Mori,' essentially means 'Remember, We Die.' The artwork is designed to show the different layers of our physical and spiritual form going through the phases of disintegration, ending in the release of the soul."

Last week the band also announced that guitarists Daniel Sahagún and Charles Lee Salvaggio had joined the group. In addition to both men joining the band's touring lineup, they are also featured on the new record.

'Memento Mori' Track Listing:
1. Anonymous
2. Remember We Die
3. Zealot
4. Gravedigger
5. On Point
6. La Devastante Veritá
7. Sorry Not Sorry
