ADAM JONES posts video of TOOL rehearsing "Rosetta Stoned"

'10,000 Days' fan favorite could be returning to the setlist

Earlier this month, TOOL drummer Danny Carey teased that the prog-metal giants are planning a "big tour" that's set to go down this fall. Now, guitarist Adam Jones has shared video of the band rehearsing "Rosetta Stoned" in their Loft studio. Put two and two together, and it sure looks like the beloved 10,000 Days standout could be returning to the setlist.

Jones posted the video as an Instagram story, and of course, a die-hard TOOL fan quickly ripped it and put it up for posterity on YouTube. According to Setlist.fm, "Rosetta Stoned" ranks as the group's 15th most-played live song, but TOOL haven't broken it out onstage since 2018, but before then, they hadn't performed it since 2009.

"I hope to see you out there on the road in 2023," Carey said in his early-February video acceptance speech for Drumeo, who bestowed him with the title of "Progressive Drummer of the Year." "We have a big tour coming in the fall, a few festivals in the summertime." Currently, other than their headlining festival appearances at Florida's Welcome to Rockville (May 21st) and Ohio's Sonic Temple (May 25th), TOOL have no other shows confirmed for 2023 — but stay tuned!
