ADAM JONES says TOOL "might dig a couple oldies out" for fall tour

TOOL are preparing to head out on a massive fall headlining tour, which includes their first Canadian dates in four years. It's a big occasion for the alt-metal giants, and guitarist Adam Jones has teased that TOOL will be pulling out all the stops to make these shows extra special.

Based on what he told Pollstar in a new interview, it sounds like the band will be playing some older songs that don't get added to the setlist very often. The visual element of their show has also been adjusted since their last run of dates.

"We've added to the show," Jones teased. "We haven't played all the markets and definitely want people to see what we're doing.

"We might dig a couple oldies out and angle our setlist a little bit, and the rhythm of it. And we got some new visuals, which are very cool."

Fans will have to wait until the tour's September 22nd kickoff to know exactly which "oldies" Jones is talking about, but surely, Tool-heads are stoked for anything the band end up pulling out of the archives.
