In 2024, Slipknot's game-changing self-titled debut will turn 25 years old, and it sounds like the band will be marking the occasion in a big way. During the same Chaoszine interview where Corey Taylor just made his first comments on Slipknot's new mystery member, the frontman also let slip that the band are concocting a series of shows around the world to mark the quarter-of-a-century since Slipknot was released in 1999.

Taylor casually mentioned those exciting plans when he was asked what his schedule is looking like for 2024.

"Right now, Slipknot's kind of wrapping up a little bit," Taylor said of Slipknot's current schedule. "Next year, I know we're talking about doing a handful of shows all over the world because it's gonna be the 25th anniversary of the first album."

At this point, the interviewer couldn't contain his excitement and let out a hearty, "Woah, cool!," and Taylor quickly realized how stoked viewers would be about what he just said.

"Now, don't quote me on that," he joked while talking to the camera. "Best way to make God laugh is to announce your plans out loud. But that's what we're hinting at, it's what we're talking about."
