DILLINGER, EVERY TIME I DIE supergroup: Hear BETTER LOVERS' surprise new EP

Greg Puciato, Jordan Buckley and more unite on 4-song 'God Made Me an Animal'

Back in April, a band called Better Lovers shook the heavy-music world with a teeth-rattling debut single called "30 Under 13." The then-newly-formed supergroup boasts the ungodly lineup of former Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley, Clayton "Goose" Holyoak and Stephen Micciche plus ex-Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Fit for an Autopsy guitarist (and noted producer) Will Putney.

Today, Better Lovers have returned another surprise release: their debut EP, the wonderfully titled four-song thrill ride God Made Me an Animal, issued through SharpTone Records. Crank all four tracks above and below via YouTube.

"Surprise! Our debut EP, God Made Me An Animal, is out now," the band commented in a joint statement. "Four eclectic and wildly fun songs we've been kicking around for what feels like forever, it's great to finally have these out in the world. Let it happen to you. Hear all this and more on tour all summer. The engine is turned on."

The EP arrives as Better Lovers just ahead of the group's inaugural tour, a mix of both headlining dates — several already sold-out — and performances with Underoath. Fittingly, the trek kicks off in Buffalo, New York, the hometown of Buckley, Holyoak and Micciche, on July 13th.

Check out Better Lover's full itinerary below. God Made Me An Animal is available for pre-order in its physical editions, including several limited-edition vinyl variants, as well as CD and cassette, via SharpTone.
