Hear Cane Hill Bring Djent Heaviness on New Song "A Form of Protest"

NOLA crew usher in "our relentless and uncompromising future"

Cane Hill have many personalities — over the last 10-plus years, the NOLA heavy-music stalwarts have veered between metalcore, nu-metal, industrial metal and even acoustic alt-rock. Today (May 18th), the quartet helmed by frontman Elijah Witt dropped their latest offering, "A Form of Protest," the band's debut single for their new label home, Out of Line Music, and it leans into yet another lane: pummeling djent. Blast the song above via its visualizer video.

"It marks the transition between what we've been to what we will become," Cane Hill commented of "A Form of Protest" in a joint statement. "Poised in rage and frustration caused by 'the powers that be,' this song welcomes you into our relentless and uncompromising future."

The single arrives ahead of Cane Hill's imminent spring run, dubbed The Krewe Du Sang Tour, with Afterlife, VCTMS and Moodring set to open. See the full itinerary below.
