We here at Revolver HQ are longtime fans of Denzel Curry, but it's been a while since he dropped music heavy enough to live up to the title of his 2018 song "BLACK METAL TERRORIST."
Enter "Blood on My Nikez," Curry's latest single and the first taste of a new project he's been talking up called 13LOOD 1N + 13LOOD OUT RELOADED. It's a dark, raw song that harkens back to Denzel's early mixtape era, but with the pop smarts he's developed since, and it arrived today (July 20th) accompanied with a fittingly gritty music video directed by Omar Jones.
In other news, Curry has a two-night run of four live band shows scheduled at the Blue Note Jazz Club September 12th and 13th, with 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. performances each day. Tickets are currently sold out.
