Hear MINISTRY team with COC'S PEPPER KEENAN on new song "Goddamn White Trash"

Off upcoming 'HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES' album

This past spring, Ministry played a ripping, old-school-sounding new song, "Goddamn White Trash," throughout their headlining Moral Hygiene Tour with Gary Numan. Today (August 17th), the industrial-metal pioneers have unleashed the studio version — which features none other than Pepper Keenan, of Corrosion of Conformity and Down. Blast it above via its live music video, directed by Dean Karr.

"Goddamn White Trash" is the lead single off HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, Ministry's upcoming 16th album.

"Just like you or anybody else, I'm simply a passenger in this lifetime," Ministry main man Al Jourgensen commented. "I'm watching social changes, political changes, and economic changes, and I comment on them because I do have a First Amendment right.

"A lot of people say artists and athletes should shut up and play ball. No, I'm on this trip, too. If I see something, I say something. That reflects on where each album goes. Instead of staying sedentary and singing about broken relationships, inner turmoil, or whatever is hurting this week, I comment on what's going on from the perspective of a fellow passenger."

In addition to Keenan's feature on "Goddamn White Trash," HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES boasts a slew of guest contributors including Gogol Bordello's Eugene Hutz and longtime Ministry collaborator and Jourgensen's Lard bandmate Jello Biafra.

HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES is due out March 1st via Nuclear Blast.
