If you thought it was weird when Kurt Cobain's hair sold for $14,000 at auction a couple years back, just wait until you hear the premium some people will pay for a rockstar's toe.

Al Jourgensen, the eccentric mastermind behind industrial-metal pioneers Ministry, has revealed that Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro once offered him a cool $20k for his amputated toe!

Fans of Jourgensen know that the guy has had a helluva life. He's endured intense battles with drug addiction over the years, and has shared many 'a grisly detail about the debauched and dangerous lifestyle that came with it.

In a new interview with The Guardian promoting Ministry's latest album, Hopiumforthemasses, Uncle Al — who's now sober — recounted a time when he accidentally stepped on a hypodermic needle and had to have his toe chopped off after it became gangrenous.

It was surely a traumatic event for Jourgensen, but one of his longtime pals saw it as an opportunity to bolster his collection of body parts.

"A buddy of mine, Dave Navarro, offered me $20,000 for the toe," Jourgensen said.

"He's always waiting for body parts to fall off because he collects curios. I had to inform him that [my doctors] wouldn't give me my toe back."

Lovely.
