P.O.D. have dropped a new song, "Lies We Tell Ourselves," off their upcoming 11th album, VERITAS.
Unlike the LP's previous three singles — "DROP" and "Afraid to Die," featuring Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Jinjer's Tatiana Shmayluk, respectively, and "I Won't Bow Down" — the nu-metal veterans' latest showcases the softer, more somber side to their usually pumped-up music.

"As hate is to love, death is to life, lies is to VERITAS (truth)," P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel commented of the new single. "This song resonates the struggle and hope which keeps us from truly believing that the 'lies within ourselves' become a reality. Our struggle. Our truth."
