Hear SLASH and AC/DC's BRIAN JOHNSON cover Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor"

From GN'R guitarist's new blues album 'Orgy of the Damned'

Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has a new solo album on the way called Orgy of the Damned. This one's a blues-focused record that features a mélange of time-tested standards and original compositions.

Every song on Orgy of the Damned boasts a different guest vocalist, and today, the top-hatted axman is previewing the whole shebang with a cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" — as sung by none other than AC/DC singer Brian Johnson.

Unlike Slash's work in GN'R and with his other band, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, "Killing Floor" and the rest of Orgy of the Damned leans into classic blues sounds for a vintage feel.

Other guests on Orgy of the Damned include Iggy Pop, Demi Lovato, Chris Stapleton and Dorothy. Some of the songwriters Slash covers on here are Robert Johnson, Stevie Wonder, the Temptations and Hoyt Axton.

While Slash has released four albums over the last 12 years years with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, this is the GN'R icon's first proper solo album since his 2010 self-titled LP, which also boasted an array of guests.

Orgy of the Damned is due out May 17th and you can pre-order it now.
