For fans of MINISTRY and NAILBOMB: PUREST FORM release new EP and video

Industrial-metal trio includes members of Fury, Choking on Ash and more

The first time we at Revolver HQ heard Purest Form's debut single, "Broke," back in February, we were instant fans. The industrial-metal rager sounds something like it could be a long lost B-side from Nine Inch Nails' Broken EP.

Today, the L.A. supergroup — vocalist Story Beeson (Choking on Ash, Vacant Future), guitarist-programmer Madison Woodward (Fury, Object of Affection) and bassist Riley Joyner (Roman Candles, Pocketknife) — finally dropped their self-titled EP and, with it, the video for standout cut "Self Destruction," which you can watch above.

Sonically, the mechanized rager channels such core influences as Ministry, Godflesh and Sepultura, while lyrically it's about "one's outward ego/inner self and the complicated battle between the two," the band explained in a joint statement.

You can stream the Purest Form EP in full below, as well as watch the group's recent live cover of the Prodigy's electropunk classic "Breathe," which they broke out at their first-ever live show, on February 9th at L.A.'s Genghis Cohen.
