Hear SPIRITBOX's explosive new song "The Void"

Canuck alt-metal crew deliver the goods on standalone single

Spiritbox are formally inviting us to enter "The Void." Last week, the Canadian alt-metal band kicked off their first-ever headlining tour, and so far they've been playing a brand new, unreleased track at every single date. That song is called "The Void," and today they've finally released it on streaming services for all to hear.

Musically, it lands in Spiritbox's wheelhouse of catchy alt-metal laced with hiccuping djent riffs and a driving rhythm. If you like Spiritbox's old stuff, you'll probably really like "The Void." Check it out above via YouTube.

"'The Void' is a song that came about very quickly," Courtney LaPlante said in a statement. "I didn't have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don't argue with it. It's a type of song that I've been wanting to write for a long time, I've heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It's been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time."
