Last night (February 22nd), Pantera played one of the biggest shows of their comeback run: a headlining gig at the most famous arena in the world, New York City's Madison Square Garden.

Child Bite, a noise-punk outfit signed to Philip Anselmo's Housecore Records label, opened the proceedings, while Virginian NWOAHM gospelists and heirs apparent to the Pantera throne Lamb of God played in direct support.

As for the Cowboys From Hell, Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante — the latter two playing, of course, in place of the irreplaceable Abbott brothers — cranked through a steamrolling 13-song set, opening with "A New Level" and closing with the succinct, statement-making encore of "Fucking Hostile."

Photographer Kevin Wilson was in the house to catch all the action — see some of his standout shots below.
