Iron Maiden singer shares new 'Mandrake Project' single

In just over a month, Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson will unveil his new solo album The Mandrake Project, marking his first non-Maiden voyage in nearly 20 years.

In late 2023, he premiered the album's surprisingly heavy lead single "Afterglow of Ragnarok," and today (January 24th), he's back with another called "Rain on the Graves."

Throughout the record's rollout, Dickinson has made clear that the Mandrake Project — his first solo LP ince 2005's Tyranny of Souls — is more than just a collection of music. For instance, the album's story will be told in a 12-issue graphic novel series created by Dickinson and published via Z2 Comics.

And in the spirit of multi-media, Dickinson's accompanying music video for "Rain on the Graves" is actually a short film, which stars Dickinson playing an "unsuspecting preacher who took a trip to hell."

The Mandrake Project is due out March 1st and it's available for pre-order here.
