See MIKE SHINODA play LINKIN PARK's "Bleed it Out" with POLARIS, STAND ATLANTIC members

In-studio session also featured live debut of Shinoda's new solo song

Earlier this month, Linkin Park co-vocalist Mike Shinoda returned with a pop-punky new solo song called "Already Over," and he recently assembled a who's who of Australian musicians for a one-time-only studio performance.

The lineup included Stand Atlantic singer Bonnie Fraser, Polaris drummer Daniel Furnari, and Between You & Me bassist James Karagiozis, and after whipping through an in-studio live version of "Already Over," the whole gang busted out a rendition of Linkin Park's "Bleed It Out."

According to Setlist.fm, Shinoda hasn't played a proper solo show since 2019, but back during that touring cycle he would frequently include "Bleed it Out" — a track from Linkin Park's Minutes to Midnight — in his encore.

Therefore, it's been a solid four years since Shinoda performed "Bleed it Out," but he sounded like he was having a blast banging it out with his gaggle of Aussie session mates, including Fraser singing the parts of late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.
