See SLIPKNOT's COREY TAYLOR join FALLING IN REVERSE onstage to sing "Drugs"

Singer's first time onstage since cancelling winter solo tour

Last night (March 3rd), Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor made his first onstage appearance since abruptly canceling his solo tour earlier this year.

Taylor made a surprise cameo at Falling in Reverse's show in Las Vegas, where he grabbed a mic for their collaborative track "Drugs," which Ronnie Radke and Co. released back in 2019.

This marked Taylor's first time on a stage since December 2023, back when the 'Knot singer was touring Australia in support of his 2023 solo affair, CMF2

Taylor was supposed to kick off a run of North American dates in early February, but he announced in early January that he needed to call off the tour due to his mental and physical health, which he said "have been breaking down."

"I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I," he wrote in a statement released on social media. "I know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others — but after taking a hard look at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being."

Right now, Taylor has a smattering of European solo tour dates on the docket from late May through early July.

Likewise, Slipknot are slated to play their first show of 2024 at Sick New World festival in April, and then the Iowa Nine will headline this year's Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple Festivals in late May.
