See STAIND play new song "Lowest in Me" live for first time

Onstage at the Hard Rock in Tampa, Florida

Over the weekend, Staind played the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in Florida, and they opened their show by playing their recent single "Lowest in Me" live for the first time. Watch fan-filmed video of the performance — which went down on Friday, July 13th — above.

Released in April, "Lowest in Me" is the lead single off the reunited nu-metal veterans' upcoming new full-length, Confessions of the Fallen, the band's first studio album in over a decade. It's since been followed up by the LP's second single, "Cycle of Hurting."

"Everybody has got people in their lives that don't bring out the good in somebody," singer Aaron Lewis told Billboard of "Lowest in Me." "Just with what's going on in the world right now, there's so many things, so many people that are like, 'You bring out the lowest in me.' There's a lot of factors out there that could fall under the 'you' category."

Confessions of the Fallen is due out September 15th and can be pre-ordered on limited-edition "orange w/ black and white splatter" vinyl at Revolver's store.
