U.K. trio showcases their power

When Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard says that you've stepped up to "claim the front-runner status as the new heavy," you know you're onto something. Such is the case with U.K. power trio Tigercub, who signed to Gossard's label Loosegroove Records in 2022 and released their latest LP, The Perfume of Decay, earlier this year.

Today (June 26th) album standout "Show Me My Maker" finally got its music video, and Revolver is stoked to premiere it online. (The clip received a first look on Matt Pinfield's show Power Hour on AXS TV.) The song is a swaggering, feedback-soaked anthem, and its fittingly gritty and blown-out visual captures Tigercub in fine form, tearing through the cut in stripped-down surroundings. Watch above.

"Show Me My Maker speaks for itself," Gossard commented. T"his song has classic guts. The opening cobra strikes of a guitar riff... it's seriously in the running for 'mother of all riffs' to the nihilistic exultation of the chorus refrain. I love it. Thank you, Tigercub."

The Perfume of Decay is out now via Loosegroove Records — you can order it here.
