Cutting the Throat of God is a fucking awesome name for an album, and course it was the New Zealand death metal innovators Ulcerate who came up with it.
The trio, whose 2020 album Stare Into Death and Be Still we at Revolver premiered, are prepping their latest opus for a release this June, and today (March 14th) they're previewing it with an absolutely monstrous new song called "The Dawn Is Hollow."
The video features various people's faces literally melting away, and that's how it feels to listen to this seven-and-a-half-minute epic. It's the perfect balance of heavy and avant-garde, and you can blast it above via YouTube.
