Legendary record label Metal Blade Records hosted their 30th Anniversary Label Showcase in Los Angeles on September 15. They celebrated with roster members including Six Feet Under, Cattle Decapitation, Battlecross, Gypsyhawk, and Pilgrim. Our own Stephanie Cabral was there, too, capturing all the action. Iron Maiden and Coheed and Cambria rocked Moutain View, California, this summer. As well as the requisite horns-throwing fans, the bands were greeted by protesters at the entrance screaming "Jesus will penetrate you!" During the Chicago stop of this year's Carnival of Madness tour, Halestorm didn't let a little (or a lot of) rain spoil the fun. In spite of the weather, the band played an electrifying set, which included a special guest appearance from Evanescence's Amy Lee. Static-X, featuring frontman Wayne Static, took the stage at New York City's Gramercy Theatre this past Monday night, August 20, and Revolver was there.
