Fresh off their stunning surprise single "Promised Land," darkwave overlords Cold Cave hit NYC's Brooklyn Steel last night (Monday, February 4th), joined by fellow synth tormentors Adult. and Vowws. Psychic TV, helmed by industrial-music pioneer Genesis P-Orridge, were scheduled to play a special set at the show, but Genesis was unfortunately too sick to perform and had to cancel. Still, attendees couldn't help but be swept up in the chilly goth vibes and hypnotic beats, dancing the wintry night away led by Cold Cave main man and the evening's resident Pied Piper Wes Eisold, also of hardcore crew American Nightmare. Photographer Angela Owens was there to catch all the action — see her evocative pics below.
